Your responsibilities:
- Oversee large commercial contracts across Europe with focus on Onsite, regarding all kind of legal matters and providing expert legal support to national, regional, and central European teams
- Lead contract negotiations involving all relevant stakeholders including drafting and reviewing complex contracts
- Analyze legal risks & opportunities and derive actions to ensure business protection and growth as well as deliver practical legal solutions for complex issues, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop compliant legal strategies
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional projects to ensure alignment and smooth project execution
- Manage project-specific external legal counsels, ensuring timely and effective legal support
- Conduct legal training sessions to improve understanding of key legal concepts in the commercial area.
- Support the development of digital legal processes, driving efficiency and innovation in operational workflows
Your profile:
- University degree in law with 1st and 2nd state examination or comparable degree
- Profound professional experience in a corporate legal department or law firm specializing in commercial law.
- In-depth knowledge of general commercial law as well as project-specific awareness of legal matters relating to antitrust law, competition law, public procurement law, as well as private international law
- Experience with legal frameworks governing joint ventures and navigating complex partnership agreements
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize different tasks and projects at the same time, quickly adapt to changes, meeting deadlines and securing the execution
- Affinity for technical matters and the ability to engage with complex technical questions
- Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong verbal & written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; another language is a plus
